I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the McMenamins Six Arms in Seattle.
Appearance: medium yellow-gold, with a moderate haze and a finger of creamy ivory foam with good retention. Not bad for the style!
Smell: very malty aroma with a dash of a wheaty component. Not complex, but well-designed and pretty satisfying.
Taste: malty with a little wheatiness; there's a fair bit of sweetness here. It's got a pretty neutral yeast component, though, so it's an interestingly demonstrative "wheat ale" without trying to be a Hefeweizen. Pretty good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a very well-integrated carbonation and a good creaminess.
Overall: I actually really like this beer. It sweeter than I normally like, but as I said above it does a great job of showcasing wheat without trying to be a Hefeweizen.
