I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at McMenamins Six Arms in Seattle. This is marketed as a witbier brewed partially with a saison yeast.
Appearance: light golden hue with a moderately heavy haze and a thin layer of white foam.
Smell: wheaty aroma with a super-subtle saison quality. A little sweet; pretty nice.
Taste: plenty wheaty with a nice chalky smoothness and maybe just a soupçon of saison. It's not complex, but it's smooth and drinkable.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: it's not a groundbreaking witbier, but it ticks all the boxes for me as a refreshing quaff. Good stuff!
