Draft at McMenimans Beaverton. Hazy dark golden, small creamy head. Light malty aroma, mild citrus. Taste brings more bready malts, light fruity notes, gentle bitterness. Not quite hazy, more malt forward.

i love what these guys do, not just with beer but with everything, an no i have not had them all, or all the wine, or all the spirits, or stayed at all the hotels or anything, but i definitely want to, cool spaces, cool people, cool community engagement, cool art, ill never be a hater. this is nice ipa, light in body and color for spring, but boldly hopped, enjoyed from the rooftop bar at hotel oregon in mcminnville, so dope. no deeper than honey colored, not perfectly clear but appealing and refined looking with an average inch of white head. the aroma here is pretty classically northwestern, bitter and zesty grapefruit with fresh pine sap and a little dank and sticky to it, but there is a cleanness too it, somewhat restrained bitterness when i taste it, and more balance than the nose shows, some dry cereal grain character rising up in service of keeping this well proportioned, right on time. i like that their beers have some yeast character, its mellow but important in this, crackery and drying, helps the hops pop but not expose themselves. some orange peel to the finish, a flash of key lime at temperature, some citra maybe coming from the dry hop. cool beer, light to drink but big on flavor with contributions from all the elements, sneaky unique even in this space. the setting really helped, but this beer is real good.

On tap at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse.

A mildly hazy orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing, this looks good. The nose is solid. Moderately fruity but also pine like, there's a nice blend of orange, honey, peach to go with the pine. There is a mild bitterness up front to go with the flavor of pine and orange. A clean, lightly doughy malt flavor with honey, a little chalky bitterness, a little carbonic bite. Light in body and moderately carbonated, this beer finishes lightly bitter and moderately fruity. The classic Mcmenamins yeast character is present as well. Solid.
