Had on-tap at the OBF! Surprised this beer was a... a...
- Golden yellow, slight copper... nice finger of head... then to lacing..
- Balanced aroma of mild floral and citrus hop, with a complex grainy malt profile... not very usual for McMenamins..
- Great balanced flavor... grain, bread, malt, caramel... and a super good flow of hop. Not sure one hop note stood out... just an all around decent IPA.
- Slightly dry, some grain notes add to chew...
- Really not bad... would ask for this by name at any McMenamins est.

Light orangish body, pretty nice balance in nose, sweet malts more pronounced than the hops. Fairly smooth taste, not a big hop presence, but fairly drinkable. A nice entry IPA for the hoard of fratboys at the OBF. Certainly not buzzworthy.

The beer pours an orange coolaide color with good head retention and lacing. I don't get a lot on the nose, just some tobacco, pepper and light hoppy citrus. Flavors on the palate generally replicate the nose, though I would point out this is a very, very dry IPA, very much in the NW/West Coast style. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and drinkability is OK.
Meh. An OK, but really nothing special, IPA from McMenamins. I've had better from these guys.
