Had this at Thompsons as Solar Wheat. Hazy dark golden with a lovelly bubbly eggshell white head. McMenamins always look good in the imperial pint glass. Aroma as usual is subdued bready malts a little hop but not unpleasing Taste i was expecting more whet and clove, but this is typical golden ale/American wheat crossover territory..sweet, caramel and a touch of hop..not horrific but very average. Actually not too thin on the palate ompred to many from this brewer. Overall a very average brew ..the only big PLUS being the green power aspect. So a tentative thumbs up(ish).
