On draught at the CPR, served in a shaker pint, Hop Logic IPA is hazy burnt gold leaving light, scattered white lace. Nice glow to it.
Smell is fruity, big apricot and tangerine, hoppy but estery as well. Nice, a sweetness to it, like the sugar coated candies.
Taste is similar, big blast of the sweet citrus hops up front, grainy midpalate before a spicy finish. Nice complexity and comes off fairly balanced, if a bit pleasantly rustic.
Mouthfeel is light and slick, medium light body. Perhaps a bit sticky.
Drinkability is pretty good, a solid IPA, nice fruitiness while still being malty enough to stand up. Refreshing, a nice summer IPA, if a bit dangerous at +6%.
