I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at McMenamin's in Mill Creek, WA. Menu indicated 4.64% ABV.
Appearance: rich amber hue with a thin ivory head. There's a touch of haze to the body with little effervescence -- nice color, but otherwise unspectacular.
Smell: mild malty aroma with a hint of yeast. Not bad, but I would like a little bit more character.
Taste: true to character for an altbier. Malty with a hint of band-aid yeasty character. Bitterness is very, very low.
Mouthfeel: medium body with low carbonation. Not really creamy, but not insipid or anything; the body saves it.
Overall: not a bad beer, but very middle-of-the-road. Worth a shot if you like alts.
