I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the McMenamins in Mill Creek, WA.
Appearance: rich dark brown with a clear body and a thin lace of tan head atop. The color is quite nice, though.
Smell: light toasty malt aroma. It's okay, but it's volume is turned down pretty low.
Taste: toasty, nutty, and caramelly malt, and overall on the drier side. Bitterness is moderate; overall not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a light carbonation and okay creaminess.
Overall: this beer’s flavor isn’t bad, and though it is just kind of low-intensity overall, it is super drinkable.
