The beer just pours to thin and light for what I was expecting from a Christmas Ale. The smell is wonderful you can smell lots of spices (although I wish I had taken better notes than just my ratings). The problem is, none of those spices seem to be apparent in the flavor, which is just a smooth ale. It goes down easy but it is not very exciting.
