. Again Thompsons Brewpub in Salem..again I am on the porch enjoying a gorgeous hot late summer night with the crickets and tree frogs! Beer pours very murky orange small head that goes fast..just a thin ring remains. Wheaty ,fruity aromas abound.,cherry, apricot and hay OK for McMens Taste is the same as the aroma..very balanced..really good for a hot nigh Nice enough mouthfeel..aids drinking OK wheat nothing stellar but gets the job done.

Had this beer on-tap at the McMenamins in Mill Creek, WA. It has been on the menu there forever.
Appearance: light golden straw hue with very little haze. Head is thin and white.
Smell: malty and wheaty but pretty mild. Sweet and pleasing but pretty simple.
Taste: mildly fruity and grainy. Pretty decent but it lacks a certain wheaty character that really is missing for me.
Mouthfeel: light body with moderate carbonation. Decent enough.
Overall: a middle of the road American wheat.
