12 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Very bright yellow color with a bone white head, fades somewhat quickly but isn't super airy, not bad for the style
S: Has a pretty skunky aroma right out of the bottle, but just has a somewhat strange griany aroma, but that is it
T: Perhaps even more bland than corona, barely anything noticeable actually, doesn't even have a skunky aroma, literally tastes like slightly malty water with a hint of crisp
M: Decent, crisp but not super carbonated, very light
D: High with regards to ease, low with regards to desire
Notes: The beer is actually fairly decent looking for a light lager. I was expected something terrible. However, flavor wise it is terrible.

Appearance: Pours out a clear, fairly light yellow body with an airy, dainty-looking, white head.
Smell: Simple, meager aroma of cereal grains and fluffy popcorn.
Taste: A marriage of white corn and sweet grains washed over with a wave of pure water. Incredibly muted hop character, providing just a hint of grassiness and bitterness. Just a hint, mind you. Drying, thin finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: While it might be just the thing for a hot, sunny day along the coast catching some waves, it serves as only a substitute for Corona Light here in this drafty, dreary apartment.

Pours a pale clear yellow, looking more like - well, more the way beer looks after it goes through one. Aroma is a little stronger than I expected, more fruity than malty. Flavor - uh, flavor? It is barely noticeable. Texture is smooth and not watery but I could not detect any fizz or tingle. Oh well, it was worth a try--

Poured from clear 12oz bottle with imprinted turtle into a pint glass
A: Veyr pale straw color with thin white head that does leave a little lace
S: Toasted malt aromas are at least a little unexpected, but graininess dominates
T: Toasted malts and or grains should definitely be a selling point for anyone trying to pawn this beer off to anyone. Otherwise typical thin light lager taste
M: Thin and watery
D: Taste isn't bad but overall even Miller Lite is a ton better

Caguama Light pours a light pale straw from a 12oz clear glass bottle. Head of white foam went to just under one finger before collapsing to a full cap of fine foam and bits of lace here and there.
Nose is of toasted sweet barely malt with just a hint of sulfur. Gosh! this stuff actually tastes like beer... nice toasted sweet barley malt, good mouth feel and carbonation right on the money.
I have had the Caguama beer before (regular, not light) and the taste was nowhere near what this light tastes like, this Caguama Light really tastes good.
I was getting ready to pan this beer, but much to my pleasant surprise, I get to write a good review.

Immensely drinkable, but probably little else, Caguama is a good alternative to Corona Light, and is less expensive (and a bit better IMHO) in most cases. Color, smell and taste are all minimal, but this is a light beer, and frankly, there's very little difference between this and the regular Caguama. A good, refreshing beer for those warm days (lots of those in South Carolina...).

Prologue The regular Caguama is the current record holder for my all-time lowest score: straight ones. I couldnt believe that they actually figured out a way to lighten this up so I had to buy a bottle of it. Here it goes.
Appearance This is just as light in color as the regular Caguama, meaning almost translucent. The head went up and down so fast it was kind of like a strobe light. For a moment there was white, then nothing.
Smell The horrid dead skunk aroma from Papa Caguama is complimented here by a big fat tortoise turd. This is disgusting. And, now for the taste . . .
Taste This tastes like rotten club soda with a lemon in it. The flavor, as terrible as it is, is so faint that its barely detectable. One sip and I feel like Ive chugged a mouthful of South American toilet water.
Mouthfeel The slight Alka-Seltzer fizz is all you get in the mouth here. I had to chase this with three shots of Listerine to keep from wretching.
Drinkability El Salvadorian mothers should smack their children just for saying the word, Caguama. I think Ill go clean out my cats litter box just to smell something nice.

Got this for the visiting in-law. Couldn't pass up the opportunity.
Clear 12 oz bottle, pours almost as clear as the glass, a wisp of head disappears quickly. No aroma worth mentioning. Almost hurt myself trying to draw enough of a waft to smell anything. Taste is about the same. Taste like they started to brew a light beer and ran out of malt, and maybe didn't have access to hops at all. There a slightly dry aftertaste, but its not that enjoyable, and I've gotten the same taste/mouthfeel combination from tap water.

Looks like this brewery is jumping on the Corona bandwagon. Clear painted label longneck bottle with a turtle on it, and some marketing babble on the back about the Great Loggerhead Turtle ("Caguama") that was sought by fishermen of Central America as good luck, and a wish that the drinker has good luck too. Yeah, right. This beer has been showing up in mass in grocery stores around my neck of the woods.
Pale straw color, almost colorless. Fizzy, soda-water mouthfeel with a thin, beer-seltzer flavor. A ham sandwich overpowered the beer.
