This beer has a weird lemony taste. Waste of money at $5. The smell is the same. No hops that I can discern. Just really bad. Fell is a bit thin, but who cares after the first sip.

Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow, rather effervescent body with two inch of white suds.
Smell: Hint of sweet lemon, incredibly low touch of grain. Pretty minimalist aroma.
Taste: A pinch of powdered sugar sweetness, an ultra faint hint of barley grain. Near nil spiciness, though no real hop bitterness coming through. Slightly drying, rather gassy, belch-birthing finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Well carbonated for a rather sudsy, gassy feel.
Overall: Falls short of being a Kölsch, let's just say it's a light, crisp golden/blonde and call it a day, huh?

Something went horrible wrong with this one. It's sour and has a weird Bretty taste, possibly due to very cheesy hops. Grocery Outlet had six-packs of it for $5, so I figured I'd give it a try. Five bucks wasted! Although I could possibly use it in the BJCP class I teach now and then.

Out of the the different types of Kolschs i have had this one is not as flavorful, as others but it has a lighter fair taste wise. It has a pretty smooth flavor and goes down easy. I would upload a photo of the beer bottle but I am lazy.
