The local Jewel supermarket getting some new brews.
Looks like orange rust though dark enough to be intriguing. Head is 2-3 fingers depending on pour and is white and very creamy/foamy. The head dissapates very quickly though.Would like a little unfiltering for this style with a little more orange/white color.
I smell slight orange and alcohol upfront with a metalic hoppiness. A sweet caramel raises the bar slightly.
Small orange and thin metal. Small tartness in the hops. I tried one that I had not put in the refrigerator right away and had gotten to room temperature. It has been my experience that this generaly does not ruin the beer, and in some Belgium ales really brings out the sugar and fruit. This one gives you a cardboard finish. Made me lose a lot of respect for the brew. Not as good as a blue moon or even an AB Shock Top.
Mouthfeel is very carbonated, but not overall horrible, just not "beery" enough for me. Could be thicker...unfiltering or not pasteurizing anybody? A little watery after it matures a bit.
If these are very cold then knock yourself out. At $5 a 6-pack, and a not too bad amber ale in their line, if you're at Jewel, get one and drink'em fast. The price helps out a lot.

Appearance- Pours with a medium head that dissipates quickly, a medium yellowish color with little carbonation.
Smell- Hints of fruit in the nose with a distinct wheaty odor.
Taste- Very light flavor, hints of fruit, wheat, yeast, and a little bit of sweetness.
Mouthfeel- Light on the palate, not too filling.
Drinkability- A very drinkable beer, a few is quite doable.

AP: a crispy, well carbonated lively looking golden color with a thin, bubbly white head that dissipated slowly to nothing more than a thin vail.
Nose: Light wheat malt with a slightly sweet whiff from the honey and a very subtle hop charechter.
Taste: Essentially a light-wheat malt dominated brew with only the most subtle hint of honey and balanced with herbal, green hops. Pretty simple.
Feel: the feel is the best part, with a nice, lively crackle that is refreshing and very light.
DA: An easy drinker for summer...bring on the fall brews!!

Unfiltered, dirty orange coloured beer, nice sized frothy white head. Aroma is rather weak, slightly cirtic ,but quite bready, not horrible. Some wheatiness in the flavour and a good semi-sweet honey tone, sweetness gives way at the end to a slight graininess. I actually liked the palate on this one, it felt full and smooth, and not to cloying. Actually not that bad of a summer beer, had far worse.

Appearance is a hazy light golden color with a thin head. Aroma has the smell of light honey and wheat malt, the same could be said for the taste, but also having very light hop with a fair amount of carbonation that makes it crisp with a light mouthfeel. Not too bad overall, probably one I couldn't make a session out of.

12oz bottle from Shaw's in Augusta. Murky orange-yellow body with a good inch of creamy off-white head. Smells sweet with hints of honey, lemon, and hops. Sweetness from the honey is immediately noticeable, with somewhat of a citrusy quality and maltyness to it as the flavor fades toward the finish. Light mouthfeel but not overly thin. For a summer wheat beer, this is above average IMO. But as far as beer in general goes, it's pretty pedestrian.

Pours hazy gold, topped with a puffy white head. Good head retention, though no lace. Fruity, lemony citrus aroma. Wheat malt and a dash of honey. The flavor follows suit. Crisp, crackling carbonation with a body on the lighter side. Very summery. Wheat malt feels a bit doughy, with light honey undertones. Citrusy in a lemon sort of way. Slight clove phenols. Wheaty sourness is balanced by the honey in the finish. Lingering citrus acidity. Dry.
Decent beer. Nothing terribly special, but it's decent enough. I didn't have a problem finishing off the six pack, although I was bored by the last two.

New beer at Albertsons which seems to be the only place that stocks these beers.
A mildly hazy pale shade of amber with a momentary white head.
Mildly sweet smelling and that is about it, not much smell here.
The flavor begins quite sweet and malty and that is about all. Heavy on the sweet and malt with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. Wheat malt stands out here but I really can't taste the honey.
The mouthfeel is OK.
Not what I would call drinkable. Too sweet one is more than enough of this.

A - this beer pours a hazy golden yellow with a finger of rocky head the fades to a lace rather quickly, sustained carbonation with a few streams so thin that i thought a hair was in my glass
S - almost a BMC maltiness, wheres the wheat? wheres the honey? hmm, thats really all there is to the aroma
T - there it is, a decent wheatiness and a subtle honey sweetness, still is that lingering BMC maltiness, and odd balance of nice craft flavor and some BMC maltiness, but still a decent flavor, with a lower ABV would make a decent session beer
M&D - not ultrasmooth, but nice and easy, somewhat fizzy, not to a soda level but a liveliness on the tongue, overall to sweet from the over-maltedness of it, but has potential, a decent brew
