From my rating I didn't think this one was very good, so don't remember it or where I had it.

Can was well within the expiry date. I am as nice a guy as they come but this beer is sickeningly sweet and syrupy. I poured it out after two sips. I like IPA's of all varietals but this is YUK!

Nice can art work/design. Pours clear, light yellow. Nice head. Smells sweet. Surprisingly, not much flavor, just bitter. No presence of hops. No complexity whatsoever. The can is the best part of this beer.

Pours an effervescent and bright gold with 3 fingers of Ivory colored head. Nice head retention and lacing
S: Grassy, bready
T: Follows the nose, dryness as well along with herbal hops. Flavor profile skews more towards a Northern German Pils to me as this warms. Finishes grassy and dry with herbaceous hops and sweet breadyness
MF: Medium body with restrained carbonation, decent balance
Drinks easy enough, but tacking off style

A lot going on with this Double IPA; it is sweet and sassy to taste, and adds a touch of bitterness to the finish. You run the gamut with this DIPA, including the huge aromatic citrus hops that compliment a sugar cane based malt backbone. You also get a solid froth and lacing from the 12oz can, and also noticed my 'best by' date stamped on the bottom of the can is 10 months ahead of when I opened it; was very fresh and enjoyable.

12 FL OZ can
Served in a tulip glass
This beer pours a bright amber color with golden highlights. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves some nice lacing.
It has a light nose of malt and bitter.
It has a bit of a citrus taste up front. I get some biscuit-y malt through the middle. It has some bitterness and pine in the finish.
Medium bodied with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel
This is a solid old school IPA. It is 1000 times better than their mango IPA.

I agree with that other guy...not citrusy!
Bought it on sale, never had it before, but I can't not try a double IPA.
It's medium-bodied, a clear light orange hue, nice head that disappears pretty quickly.
Likey likey!
