Drank from my Duvel Tulip
A - Pours a very pale cloudy yellow with two fingered frothy head that retains well. Looks great in the glass.
S - Very little aromas , get some slight metallic and grainy notes.
T - Get some lemon, orange peel and a hint of pineapple but leaves a slightly bitter after taste that is not very pleasant
M - medium bodied with very little carbonation
O - A very disappointing attempt at a Belgium wheat ale. Lacks any real flavour and is very bland around. Not recommended.

Apparently the Wingwalker series has discontinued its Summer Honey Wheat and replaced it with this new recipe called Traditional Summer Wheat. Same company, same label design and color, but a totally different recipe.
This beer pours a cloudy pear yellow color and makes a gigantic creamy white head more than 4 fingers tall. It only lasts a minute before fading back to a white rim, but it does leave an incredible amount of lacing on the glass on the way down.
There isn't much smell to this. You can barely tell it's a wheat beer by the smell as this is mostly giving off faint fruit smells along with even fainter hops.
The taste is kind of bland. Too bad they didnt leave some of the honey in from the original formula because this could sure use a boost of some kind of sweetener. Very little malt character in here. There is some mild fruit and really mild hops in here, but that's about it. It needs a lot more flavor. There's nothing bad in here, but nothing that would make me want to come back for more.
The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth but also very under carbonated. Close to medium bodied, which is strange for a summer beer. I prefer something more light and refreshing for summer.
It's drinkable and low in alcohol, but pretty bland if you ask me.
