The version I had was at 3.8% ABV and 19 IBU's
This beer was poured from a hand-pulled cask. It took nearly 10 minutes from order to service, all because of the incredible frothy head. Of course, the lace was extensive as well. The beer poured a neutral amber with a slight cloudiness.
The aroma was quite mild--very little hop, stronger crystal malt smells.
The beer was served warmer than I would expect even for a cellared beer (probably around 60 degrees farenheit). The taste was very much like a homebrew with a lot of yeast flavors. The hop is more notable here. The body is similar to light cream.
This is a beautiful looking beer. If you are partial to the homebrew style, this will be an excellent offering.

Appearance: Arrived in my pint glass an inviting gold, with a healthy 3/4 inch head and moderate lacing. A very handsome pour.
Smell: Could not detect very much, other than a mild sweetness, quite pleasant.
Taste: Surprisingly complex for a lighter style beer: citrus sweetness, almost floral tones (lavender?), and the faintest touch of earthiness, like light grass. Very unique and refreshing!
Mouthfeel: crisp, bubbly, finishes clean.
Drinkability: A wonderful summer selection, had I more time I would have enjoyed several and stayed for the Sox game!

Appearance: clear orange in color with some yellow highlights. 1" head lingers around a while. Some spotty lace develops on the glass.
Smell: extremely soft sweet tones. Nothing else detected.
Taste: caramel, green apples, ripe fruit sweetness, mild bitterness, and a hint of peat. The peat flavors could have been kicked up a bit more here.
Mouthfeel: crisp from the start to finish. Pretty clean aftertaste as some sweetness lingers very briefly on the tongue. Medium bodied.
Drinkability: definite session beer here. Very easy to quaff and another lower alcohol offering allowing someone to enjoy this all day.

On tap at Watch City out of my 20 oz "Mug Club" glass.
Amber-orange in color with not a lot of head to speak of.
Smell was almost absent, a bit of malt and hops.
Taste was subtle hops and caramel. Smooth mouthfeel.
Nice beer to drink when you don't want to think about drinking.
Highly drinkable, will make it easy to reach the 120 beers I need to reach my upgrade to a 24 oz mug in the "club".

Pours a clear orange color. Almost no head. Low carbonation. Not much to smell, except subtle hops. Taste, somehow, is still rather refreshing. Malt is dominant, hops are light, but overall a very subtle, light beer. Sweet. Has big potential as a session beer. Enjoyable, but not exceptional.

Pours a clear reddish-brown topped with a two finger ivory head, leaves bits of lacing.
Sweet malty aroma, biscuit, grainy, light herbal note.
Malt dominant taste, very sweet and biscuit like. A small note of orange and nuts.
Light-medium bodied and smooth, could serve as a session beer but not very excited, would be a good one for someone new to beer that isn't fizzy and yellow.

This red-copper ale was from one of the less interesting casks that I sampled at NERAX. It had a mild hop aroma and a mild, but hop dominated flavor. i didn't taste much peat or caramel. The beer tasted more like a pale ale than a Scotch. A generic hop flavor was omnipresent. This light bodied ale had a smooth finish. It was drinkable, but not really on style.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub. 3.2 - 3.4% ABV and 17 IBU.
This was a nice "mild scottish ale" and would be a great session beer. The beer poured a clear, amber color with light tan foam that settled but coated the inside of the glass. The smell was very minimal (but some malt could be smelled if one tried hard). The taste was nice "bready" malt with a very, very mild hop bitterness. It almost tasted "lager-like" for some reason. The mouthfeel was very smooth and clean with medium body and moderate carbonation. The aftertaste was pleasantly "bready" with a light touch of hops. This was a very easy to drink and enjoyable session ale.

Had this yesterday at Watch City, and it was good, tasty, and at that abv, I had to give it a five. I only had one, but I wanted to try three other beers. But it was fresh, easy to drink, and had enough body and taste that it would be very very easy to make a session for this one. Pint when served was a clear slightly dark tangerine. Frothy white head was pearched on top. Smell is slightly biscuity. Taste is very interesting, intial mouthfeel comes across as lagerish in feel (!), but then it turns into this smooth biscuitiness. There is some hop tangy-ness in the finish. It is leaving thick sheet lacing through-out my glass. I was reminded of cask-beers, due to the flavor packed into this low abv beer. Would definitely get this again. And Go Sox!
