Screamin' Jack's Pumpkin Ale

I usually don't go for spiced beers - except Wits - but I had just finished a burger and thought it would be a nice desert beer. I was pleasantly suprised at how good this was. Appearance was cloudy, reddish, orangey color, and no trace of any head. Aromas were the typical Watch City weird house smell. The flavor really spoke to me though. It had an apple like fruity flavor and the pumpkin and spice flavors were subtle and seemed to mingle with the fruitiness very well. Small hop bite came and the end and it finished dry and light. I was expecting it to be sweet and cloggy but that was not the case at all. But I think after a couple, the spices would just be too much. Nice after dinner beer.
