Dark mahogany with a two finger creamy tan head. Head didn't dissipate throughout the pint. Some temporary sheets of lacing cling to the glass.
Full aroma, oaky, roasted malt, nutty, cinammon.
Oak follows through to the flavor, malty with floral and citrus hop notes.
Full feel, creamy and smooth, flat but thats to be expected with the cask conditioning. Just gets better as you drink

I was told at the brewpub that Colossus Ale is the same recipe as Titan Ale, but with an added dry-hopping step. Furthermore, this Colossus was cask conditioned. This ale was a nice dark amber-red with good, tan foam. The smell was spicy and pleasant. The taste was well balanced with malt and floral hop flavors together with some spice. The mouthfeel was very smooth and creamy, with the characteristic low carbonation of a cask conditioned ale. The drinkability was very good. This ale tasted better with each sip.

Cask conditioned. Medium-dark brown, with a big frothy tan head that lasts forever, leaving a ring of lace with each sip. Aroma is very malty, fruity, and has some pretty strong floral hoppy notes. Flavor is very big - starts slightly sweet, turns to some woody and grassiness, and ends with a floral, piny hoppiness. Very big mouthfeel, chewy, and long lasting flavor. This very well could be WCBC's best beer.

I haven't been to the Watch City in a couple of weeks so I was very suprised to see a different cask ale on tap as they don't change much. Very much to my suprise it was good. Much like the old cask ale in terms of flavor. There is something about the taste of their cask ale that draws them all together.

Some very weird tangyness that I can not explain came through. Fruity, grapefruit and lemon comes to the front for me. I am very sure that this beer could be much better with somthing different. I don't know what I am looking for. All of there cask ales seem to taste very similar to me. Still very good.
