On-tap 9/1/09 at the brewpub Waltham, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short dense white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of citrus, spices, wheat, some Belgian yeast, light malts and a faint touch of hops.
T: The taste is bready up front with flavors of Belgian yeast and a thin malt character. Then some citrus (orange & lemon) sweetness comes in along with a subtle touch of coriander and ginger spices. The hops presence is very mild. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean and very dry.
D: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a decent lighter Belgian-style beer to drink for a while if you're in the mood for the style.

Body is pale, very light yellow and totally opaque. Decent lacing. Head fades quickly. The nose is nutty yeast and spice mostly. Some citrus also. The taste offers citrus and spice, with a clean aftertaste. Very slight bitterness which doesnt last. Aftertaste is leftover citrus.Mouthfeel is all about heavy carbonation, a bit watery, but a really clean finish.
