Pours a muddy light and dark brown apple cider looking beer. 1" head that sticks around and doesn't go anywhere.
You can smell the huge wheat aroma mixed with a decent grapefruit hop aroma. A weird caramel, chocolate and burnt coffee aroma takes up the back.
A musty wheat taste that is really mixed with a fruity/citrus hop and some darker malts and caramel. The burnt coffee is pops out in the rear and sits in the back of the throat for a while after each gulp.
It's a thicker beer up front that seems to smooth out as you drink it. It's a beer that makes you stop and think as you drink it.
It's quiet interesting and unique. There's a lot going on here that I would never expect out of any beer. Especially not in an IPA or a Wheat beer. But I don't know if how to describe this in anyway. It's good though.
