pale golden straw with amber tones. slight haze, almost clear. foamy, creamy head, fades to wisps. splotchy lace.
aroma: toasted malt and light note of caraway seed. hint of grassy hop. trace of diacetyl.
taste is very similar, with a great rye bread flavor, though mainly because of the caraway. mild to moderate bitterness. more caraway in the finish.
light and almost watery, but very smooth, with just trace astringency in finish. gentle carbonation.
