Had 11/3 at Watch City
A: This beer pours an opaque black with a 1/2 finger of light brown head. Head retains nicely leaving spotty lacing on the glass.
S: Nose is of oatmeal, bitter chocolate, burnt malts and coffee.
T: Taste is of pure bitter chocolate up front, middle sweetens with a bit of milk chocolate and roasted malts, burnt malt and espresso fill out the end. Aftertaste has slight oatmeal and smoked notes.
M: Medium to full bodied, low carbonation, nice thick creamy feel.
D: This is a damn tasty beer and I could sit with it all night. Hope the next time that I swing by there, I can grab a growler!
