A: This beer pours a deep dark chocolate brown with a one finger of creamy off white head. Head retains nicely leaving sparse lacing along the glass.
S: Nose is belgian yeast, sweet caramel malts, roasted malts, and alcohol.
T: Taste starts with a blast of alcohol that is quickly overtaken by the sweetness. Toffee and caramel come through in the middle. Hints of roasted notes come through before some chocolate note and another major dose of alcohol.
M: Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, nice creamy body to this.
D: Alcohol is a bit overpowering at first, but after a few sips the full flavoring comes out. Could be very nicely blended with a bit less alcohol content.
