Had a pint of this tonight at Watch City. I tried to get the exact style, but the bar tender simply said "it's like our Golden, except with more citrus. It's light and crisp." Thanks buddy, I asked for the style, sorry you thought my chick brain couldn't handle the actual style...
I'm adding as a Hefe, but subject to change...
Served in to a pint glass
A: This beer pours a hazy golden color with a 1.2 inch of sudsy head. Head recedes quickly leaving wispy lacing on the glass.
S: Nose is ... lemon grass. Some grain, and pale malt.
T: Taste is like a hefe that someone added a slice of lemon to already (btw - they didn't fruit the beer). Tons of lemon and grass flavoring in the forefront. The middle and finish are one dimensional - all pale malts. Even being one dimensional, the massive drop off in citrus flavoring really works to enhance and show case the light pale malts.
M: Medium body, moderate to high carbonation, slightly oily at first with a very dry finish.
O: They marketed this as a lawnmower beer. That it is and a damn fine one. Goes down easy, tasty, not too filling, decent ABV, since I couldn't get the freaking style...not sure if it's a good representation. It's exactly what they say it is - a lawn mower beer - it has flavor, it's got jump, and I could absolutely pound this beer on a 90 degree, high humidity afternoon.l

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
