Poured from a 64oz growler into 3 pint glasses. Thanks to Steve and HeatherAnn for the assist! Extra special thanks to jayli for the hook-up!

A: Pours a hazy and agitated dark amber color. Four fingers of white, soapy foam built up on top and slowly receded leaving some random lace specks behind.

S: Suprisingly hoppy right out of the fridge. As it warmed an assertive maltiness became apparent. But not before the hops did their best to hang around.

T: The hoppiness of the smell was pretty understated in the taste. Suprisingly malty for a "Wet Hopped" beer.

M: Nicely smooth and decently carbonated. A bit oily and sticky.

O: Glad to have tried this. Jax has treated me to a few Watch City beers and they havent disappointed yet.

Had on tap at Watch City 9/20
Served in a pint glass

A: This beer pours a hazy, deep amber color with a one finger of foamy, sudsy head. Head holds nicely, receding to a film and leaves sheets of lacing on the glass.

S: Nose is somewhat muted but a solid malt backbone, a touch of fruitiness, with a definite citrus character.

T: Taste starts with a bready malt profile before a light but balanced caramel malt sweetnens this beer out. A hint of pineapple comes through before a big, bitter grapefruit character hits and really sticks on the palate.

M: Lighter side of medium body, slightly higher carbonation, prickly feel with a dry finish.

O: Goes down easily, tasty, not too filling, low kick, decent representation of style. True to form, Watch City doesn't give you beers that blow your mind, but instead offers a solid drinkable beer to enjoy for an evening.
