Had at Watch City on 2/16
Served in a pint glass
A: This beer pours a deep, dark brown with slight chestnut hues around the bottom when held to the light. 1/4 inch of light brown head, recedes to a film quickly leaving nice coats of lacing on the glass.
S: Nose is light vanilla, hint of bourbon, grain, and chocolate.
T: Taste starts with light vanilla and chocolate notes. Roast and a hint of grain come in. A resurgence of vanilla, bourbon and a touch of a coffee in the finish.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation, crisp at first with a slick, sticky finish.
O: Goes down easy, quite tasty, not too filling, easy kick, nice representation of style. I love vanilla..so I always think that I will love vanilla beers. I usually find out that vanilla beers are oversaturated with the vanilla flavoring. Not in this case. This is the best vanilla beer that I've had!
