Growler filled 11/11
Poured in to my Brooklyn chalice
A: This beer pours dark reddish brown with mahogany hues around the edges. No head to speak of and no lacing left on the glass.
S: Nose is deep caramel malts, lighter fruity notes, some biscuit and alcohol.
T: Taste is starts with a touch of alcohol followed by a caramel malt body and biscuit. Major fruity notes come in - berries and a bit of a banana flavoring. Finish has a continued fruity flavoring with some alcohol and biscuit undertones.
M: Fuller bodied, medium carbonation, creamy rich feel with a slick finish.
O: Goes down ok, as the beer warms the alcohol kick isn't as harsh, somewhat filling, decent kick, nice representation of style.
