Poured into a pint glass at the brewery--so maybe this is a one off version of their regular Breakfast of Champions stout
Appearance: dark brown in color, 1 inch head, clear, low carbonation
Smell: roasted malt, coffee, and light pumpkin pie spice
Taste: roasted malt, coffee, and light pumpkin pie spice and puree that comes on towards the end
Mouthfeel: light bodied for the style, low carbonation, creamy sweet with earthy bitterness
Overall:A nice stout that does not overkill the pumpkin. Here the stout is the star and the pumpkin adds a bit of flavor, to make it stand out. Enjoyable--I would get this again.
