Had this on tap at the brewery (1.079 S.G., 20 IBU's, 8 % ABV).

BABES or (Boston Area Beer Enthusiasts Society) Consists of a group of Boston women who love all facets on brewing and appreciating beer.

This dark lager is Bavarian. Bloomin’Bock has a very strong maltiness and some toasty aromas. While it has no hop aroma, the moderately low-fruity aspect to the aroma often described as prune, plum or grapes. The sweetness comes from low hopping, very strong and rich lager.

This really isn't my style beer so the best I can do is just give it an average score across the board. I wouldn't get it again.
