At 4.3% abv DHB is a dry hopped version of Splendid Ale with a generous helping of Styrian Goldings hops added to the cask. DHB is ideal for those who like their beers really hoppy.

DNB stands for Dave's Hoppy Beer and I can see where they are going with this, they don't quite carry it off but it's not that far a miss.

Lemon yellow in colour, the body of the beer looks clear and sits beneath the full on creamy tight bubbled head.

The aromas are so tempting with hints of freshly bloomed roses and sherbet.

The hops are there in the taste but not enough the slight lack allows a watery taste to come in and the bitter tasting end is hijacked by the yeast pepper tang.

Mouthfeel and carbonation are good enough, nice try and a reasonable beer it has produced.
