On-tap at Uncommon Ground on Clark, Chicago, IL
A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has some amber hues with a light to moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left patches of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge:
S: Moderate aromas of spicy hops are present in the nose along with notes of caramel malts and hints of floral hops.
T: The taste has flavors of toasted and biscuit malts along with notes of spicy hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is more spicy and less malty compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: on-tap

Tried the current Greenstar lineup at Uncommon Ground. All certified organic.
Lost my review when the page decided to stall out. Great.
Light tan color, thin layer of white foam, minimal spotty lace around the edges.
Grainy aroma of wet milled barley. Similar taste, basic graininess with the added bonus of odd sweet tarts candy. Light bodied with decent carbonation. Oddly bitter aftertaste. Lacking the typical toasted Munich malt that is traditional for the style. A shame since the brewer came from Hofbrauhaus. Better luck next year.
