Ingredients listed: Water, malt, corn, hop extract
Served in a 50cL tall can.
A-Looks decent...a clear golden yellow with average head and decent retention.
S-Smells like your typical euro strong lagers...malt, adjuncts, booze, bits of hops.
T&M-Something is slightly better about this brew than other euro strong brews...I think it's the hops and the aftertaste. Despite the familiar dirty flavor of malt laced with extra booze and adjuncts that lingers in the aftertaste that makes me think of homelessness and abject poverty, the balancing hops shine through cleanly. The flaws are thus partially masked, and although I'm not impressed, it's not bad beer for the style. The carbonation is moderate and just right, and aftertaste is boozy and slightly sweet, and again, a bit less cloying than other similar brews.
O-Like most euro strong lagers, cloying, boozy, and not very clean-tasting, but on the plus side, less so than the others. For a generic line (LeClerc supermarkets), it's cheap and as good as, if not better than, the other macro strong lagers.
