The most significant recipe detail is the addition of 55 lbs. of imported English 'Brown Malt'. This malt gives the beer the subtle biscuity flavor that can be picked up in the background. Although the beer is hopped with English Target and East Kent Goldings hops, the amounts are so small that it's pointless to go into much detail about the hops.

Dark brown color with ruby-orange highlights. Head is served as a pinkie-height tan foam that sticks around. Aroma is of biscuity malt, lightly sweet with little else to go on. Blindfolded, this could be a much, much lighter beer.
The flavor is based heavily on the malt, with notes ranging from Crystal sweetness to a slightly roasted malt coloring. Odd, lingering alcohol notes all over the edges of this one. Coffee brewed with paint thinner...relatively mediocre mouthfeel, and the drinkability is shoddy. Not a great product.

Light amber in color, forming a thin off beige head with OK retention and lacing. Aroma has distinct fumes of fusel alcohol, obscuring most any other ingredient. Mouthfeel is not good...thin and dry from the alcohol. The taste is predominanted by the fusel and isopropyl alcohol. This was the worst of the bunch. I wouldn't want to drink this one again.
