4oz pour as part of a tasting flight.
Straw blonde yellow like a single malt, single hop APA I've homebrewed with 2-row and Cascade. The brewer has excellent heads down. All five beers exhibited very good head retention and lacing.
Smells like floral Cascades with the citrus edge and 2-row pale.
Almost has a soapy bitterness and at a level almost too high for such a light pale ale. That bitterness does make it especially crisp. Same Cascade character.
Average mouthfeel. Middle of the road carb with appropriate lighter body.
I think this was the weakest of the bunch. It's ok, but it is too much like my very amateurish SMaSH APA and not like standards such as SNPA and Mirror Pond. If it is a SMaSH I'd like it to be advertised as such.
