Our Czech-style Pilsner. Earthy, herbal aroma. Crisp, clean malt body. Subtle hop spiciness.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Slightly cloudy, pale gold colored body. Voluminous white head (took four pours to get all the beer in the glass), which stays on as a thick cap and high ring.
Aroma toasted malts and green apple.
Taste is toasted malts and fruity hops. Very dirt-like at the finish. Very end and the aftertaste bring on a bitter note.
Medium mouth feel. Slight tongue sting. Very good carbonation.

Pours a light golden yellow with plentiful yellowish off-white head that fades down to a foamy ring. Has the typical fancy, grassy pilsner hop aroma along with some bready malt aroma. Taste is pretty typical of the style: a light cracker-like malt flavor with plenty of spicy and grassy flavor from the hops, with mild bitterness to close. Light body with a somewhat prickly mouthfeel from the carbonation. Very refreshing and sessionable.
Perhaps it could do with a slightly heavier bitterness to close, but that would certainly bring down its sessionability and the balance of the flavors is great as-is. Pretty good beer.

Growler. Poured a clear, golden-yellow color with a good sized white head of foam. It smelled floral with toasted caramel and hints of citrus. Sweet toasted caramel taste with a grassy bitterness.
