Appearance: It has a dark brown almost black body with a slight red hue. Both the head and lace were tan and plentiful.
Smell: It had sort of a different fruity aroma that is not common in stouts and then finishes roast malt like.
Taste: For a stout I found it to have an odd fruitiness to it. There was like a banana taste to the aftertaste that I could not get my head around. Other than it was alright. Mild hops and a dry coffee like taste.
Mouthfeel: Thin for this style.
Overall: It tasted pretty good it was just different and not the usual for this style.

Pours a dark black color. 3/4 inch head of a tan color. Good lacing and good retention. Smells of sweet malt, slight hops, slight roasted malt, and yeast. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and creamy with an average carbonation level. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, yeast, slight hops, and very slight citrus (raspberry?). Overall, a nice blend but a little off with the citrus flavor.
