Blubber Chubber

I picked this one up at the local beer store. The aluminum can has a little pixelated whale as art. The beer pours as a seriously hazy, murky, dense, liquid. The color is like a light beige. The head is white, puffy, and leaves a pleasing lace. Quite fruity aroma...citrus, melon, maybe even peach. The taste is lightly sweet, with the fruit notes continuing. Underneath, I get a little malt, but this one is dominated by fruity hop tastes. Medium body and interesting, but not my favorite style.

On draft at Broadway Brewery. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, melon, caramel and toffee. It tasted of sweet fruitiness with melon notes, toasted caramel and a mild bitterness.
