Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a snulip glass. It pours an attactive apricot color with a small, ecru-colored cap and lacing. Rye is strong on the nose but accompanied by notes of lemon and grapefruit. The taste follows and it’s well crafted with strong, dry rye accompanied by tart lemon and grapefruit. There is no balancing sweetness. This ale is full-bodied with appropriate carbonation and it doesn’t drink like 9.8% ABV. Overall, a very good Rye IPA.

Nice old school style DIPA, or Imperial IPA. Good malt backbone to this copper colored brew. Hard to believe it's 111 IBU specification. No grapefruit taste for those of you who don't like the current trend. Kudos to the brewmaster at Broadway Brewery.

A - Poured a light burgundy color with a one-finger, off-white, head of long-lasting, bubbly foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of citrus and grapefruit. You can really smell the citra hops.
T - It tasted sweet with some rye bread-like flavors. Good citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Just enough hop bitterness.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry, clean finish.
O - This is a really tasty brew. Broadway keeps getting better and better with their beers.
