This is a very dark beer, letting no light pass when held up to a lamp. It forms a tan head. It smells rich and sweet, reminiscent of chocolate cake. The taste is full bodied, sweet without being cloying. The darker malts contribute nicely to the beer. The feel is very thick and satisfying. However, it could use more carbonation. This is a nice brew if you are looking for something heavy.

Not as substantial or thick as most stouts, feels a little light for the style. Get a very sweet grainy backend. Vanilla caramel coffee on the nose. Very good smell. Good beer overall

Had at the brewery. This was really good. The lactose sweetness was nice, balanced by the toasted chocolatey bitterness. Maybe even a minty clean herbal smell in there with some coffee. I'd have this again. Would have filled my growler with it had they been putting it in growlers.

Poured a black body with minimal head and lace.
A milk chocolate/lactic aroma that is sweet with just a little dry malt in there.
Light bodied, easy drinker, definitely emphasis on the milk and chocolate sweetness but again just enough roasted malts to keep balance.
Not for everyone but this is a sweet stout with emphasis on the sweetness and one that I really enjoyed.

Had this on tap at the brewery today. Pours black with a small off white head. Aroma of milk chocolate, lactose, sugar, light roast, more chocolate. Flavor follows with prominent milk chocolate and light roast, with the lactose sugar in the background. Sweet and decedent with lots of flavor despite the low ABV. Mouthfeel is creamy with low to medium carbonation, coats the mouth but not syrupy or cloying. Goes down very easy. Up there and maybe above the likes of Moloko and Moo Hoo!
