on tap. Smell: light caramel, pine, a little lime leaf and spice. Taste is what I imagine it would be like to drop a spoonful of thai green curry paste into the beer. The low heat end of the green curry scale. It was enjoyable, but fairly sweet and as an ipa retained only some vague resiny flavor. As just a vehicle for the green curry flavors it was successful, but I wouldn't have another.

A decent beer with some surprise as you let it warm up.
Aroma: Hard to tell definitely some pine, its a bit yeasty, but overall:l pleasant.
Appearance: Nice solid looking IPA. Not much head. Looks like Amber Honey.
Flavor: This beer tastes good around 50 degrees... the flavors come out and then whop there it is a tickle to the back of the throat from the Thai Chilis. Yum. The Kafir lime does coat the mouth well. And the Ginger adds just the right balance to give it more than a yum. This beer builds into a beautiful shenpa (the process of getting hooked). This beer deserves kindness and patience as the craftsmanship is truly present. Someone whom does not appreciate finesse will miss the beauty of the overall beer. It is a subtle beauty that in time was worth the patience.

On draft at the brewery. Pours golden orange color, clear, with a very small white head. Not much aroma going on here with light bitter pine and some other unrecognizable faint aromas. Flavor is some bready malts, light grass and line hop, not much influence of the adjuncts, a slightly dirty finish. Medium bodied, slightly resinous, with medium carbonation. Not bad but not exciting and the expected flavors don't really add much or come through in any interesting way.
