Gainesville Green - (Strain C - Mosaic)

On draft while picking up some bottles at the brewery. Pours deep reddish orange colored with a small white head on top. Aroma of some tropical fruits, bready malts, some light toffee, a bit of pine. Flavor is mango and some other tropical fruits, pretty dank, and with a relatively heavy bready and sweet malt bill as with the other versions of this one. Nice bitterness to accent, more so than the other versions. Medium bodied, somewhat resinous, medium plus carbonation. I liked this better than the regular and Strain B versions I had last year, but have not had those versions this year so could just be some batch variation and they’re all a bit better this time around. Worth drinking, but not my favorite profile for an IPA.
