The watermelon sweetness cuts back both the tropical and bitter aspects of the hops to create a sort of cooling effect, but not necessarily an over sweetening Kool-Aid/wine cooler effect like some of the Ballast Point attempts have done.
One of the better attempts at putting watermelon into an IPA.
