Pours dark with hardly a head on top. Can smell roasted malts, coffee and a hint of coconut. Taste is the other way around, lots of coconut with very little coffee.

Black with a thin tan ring around the edge.
This comes across more like a cola with coconut in it. The caramel notes reinforce that cola flavor.
Mounds is not very thick or substantial, and I'm missing a lot of the roastiness, chocolate and coffee. It all seems to be getting lost in the thin fizziness of this brew.

Arrives black with a very thin, light tan ring. No lace
Smell is a well balanced mix of dark chocolate, coffee, toasted malts, and faint coconut.
Taste brings the coconut forward while shoving the coffee back (yeah!). A caramel note and a hint of rum present after the sip.
Medium plus body, light effervescence. Reasonably smooth while also a bit drying. Just a little warmth to be had, too.
