This is the new version 8% brewed with Sultana & Citra hops. Pours a hazy orange color small off white head even from aggressive pour.
Aroma is kind of lighter tropical pineapple , light citrus, orange notes light pine hints.
Taste is like the nose but better Tropical fruit is light, more citrus rind bitterness along with some orange/tangerine notes. Also the pine resin in the lingering hoppier finish is also stronger, even has light herbal like hints. Nice bitterness make this one drinkable to me otherwise it would be a weak ass hazy without enough tropical notes. Kind of torn I like it but it is not a great hazy but its got some alpha hops hitting that I enjoy.
Mouthfeel is medium , with medium level carbonation.
Overall this experiment failed, lucky I'm an old school hop head or this baby would be a lower 3.
