Vibrant dark red body, a shade darker and more purplish than raspberry. Good head production, but poor retention. Very clear body.
Although labeled as a sour IPA, it's not at all sour on the nose; it's a touch sweet. Between the dragon fruit and Citra, there's an organic mustiness to the nose. I get a hint of rhubarb for some reason.
Very similar on the palate: slightly musty, only a touch sour, with a nice balance of semi-sweet and lightly tart fruit and bright hops. Tea-like in spots - like a fruited tea.
This is really not bad. I think labeling it a sour IPA is a bit of a miss; it's a fruited IPA, fairly low in bitterness, and quite tasty.
