Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint; canned 06/30/20.
A: Pours a hazy, dark pink color with a one finger, light pink head, solid retention for the style, but no more than spotty lacing.
S: Tart and very fruity. Aromas of guava and dragonfruit both very appreciable.
T: Tart and semisweet. At least I think I am picking up sugar and not fruit. Fruit flavors persist from the nose with guava and dragonfruit (I am not sure what a prickly pear tastes like, full disclosure). Refreshing and finishes largely clean, with an intermittent whiff of wet hay.
M: Light to medium bodied with light effervescence. Crisp.
O: This is a very special AWA from Swamp Head, brought to me from Gainesville by my friend (Thanks, Alex). Wish I could get more, because this was a winner.
