appearance: golden with a solid head retention
smell: very bold and assertive hop presence. pine and citrus and pepper
taste: I want more chipolte APA/IPAs. This was well done.
mouthfeel: medium bodied
drinkability: I tried this at the kickbacks Swamphead dinner among many others. This brewery in new and going in the right direction. Solid beer from a solid brewery. I would love to have this again.

Appearance: Arrives with a murky honey color; very little head and just a smattering of lace
Smell: Bready malts dominate the aroma with just a little sensation of heat
Taste: Bready malts, up front, with some hop balance that arrives by mid-palate; the chipotle chile makes a very limited appearance after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Drinkability: As a pale ale this is rather middle of the road, but the chipotle aspect was rather disappointing as it was not nearly pronounced enough
