De Belgiuminabox. En copa Grimbergen. Programando GestorRed. Perfil belga pero poco azucarado, tendiendo a la sequedad y con toques a hierba. Cuerpo ligero, recordando a lager industrial. Correcta pero nada memorable

From the bottle, it pours golden with a small head, quickly reducing to a thin layer. Some cereal in the nose. The tongue gets a bit of malt, with some bitterness. Goes down well and easily.

Decent lager, some hop bitterness to over\come the cereal notes In the smell and the taste. Nice fluffy head and very good lacing. Slow lazy carbonation in a clear golden body. Semi-dry finish with malt aftertaste.

In commemoration of the Battle of Passchendaele, a friendly Belgian ale emerges- one with mildness that's spread across the fruit and spice spectrum and is firmly malted yet sprite and refreshing. It carries several understated intangibles that make the beer tepidly rememberable.
Bright golden, hedging on pilsneresque straw, the beer builds a tall and creamy column of froth that's both firm and lacy in its persistence. Fresh baking bread, light honey and a delicate floral whimsy fancies the nose while its flavors are lush with biscuit, bread dough, light bread and sugar mild sugar cookie.
Its creamy and lavish malt taste and texture slowly relaxes and begins to support the fruit and spices that rises across the middle palate. Delicate apple, pear and banana esters act in contrast to the slightly stronger clove, vanilla and white pepper spice. With the sweetness fading late, it takes much of its floral and fruit flavors with it, leaving the finish decidedly more spicy and hopped with herbal and grassy bitterness to balance.
Its sparkling carbonation pulls from the creaminess and disects the bready malt structures, preferring a zesty champagne-like carbonic bite in finish. Its slight acidity, spicy and grassy, peppery hops take the texture from solid medium early to light-bodied stature in its waning moments. A short-lived afterglow of apple and biscuit remain in aftertaste.

Looks like an English ale, poor head, clear golden.
Biscuit, apple, apricot, faint honey, faint yeast.
Light fruit, sweet, blond, a bit of extra malt sweetness, a bit of breadiness. Crisp finish, light spicy hop, a bit of grass.
Drinks like an English ale, light to medium body, medium carbonation, pretyy clean aftertaste with just a bit of fruit and hop. A decent commemorative beer, one that's meant to be easy to get and rewarding enough. And it kinda is, without being too pretentious.

Pours transparent blonde beer with a medium white head. Light Belgian ale blend , dry, complex, metallic, yeasty, some banana and apple. Spicy and bitter at the end. Sweet and malty ale with fruity notes. Medium carbonation. Bottle and story much better than beer itself. Slightly disappointing.

Poured into snifter.
Crystal golden beer with meager foam, transforming into a thin ring quickly. Aroma is not intense, peanuts, some pale malts. Taste is more promising, rather dry, refreshing, honey, belgian yeasts, banana, pale malts. Light body, moderate carbonation. The beer is ok, no more.
