Very nice quad that does everything well, especially feel and lack of booze. Flavors are a bit average for the style featuring dark fruity esters, fruit cake, and a slight dryness that keeps sweetening at bay. One dimensional, but it's a good dimension. Would drink again, but would seek others out first

I appreciate a nitro beer but this is the worst offering I've ever had as such.

It’s no Stickee Monkee, but it looks nice in the glass, has a creamy mouthfeel, and a huge ABV that never distracts. Downside is slightly off taste, sort of metallic, acrid, almost like a sour cherry? It subsides a bit after the beer warms and breathes. Decent price point, so it’s overall a good value if you want a lively daily drinker.

Poured from a 10.1 oz. nitro can. Has a cola color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of yeast, dark fruits. Taste is yeast, dark cherries, alcohol, a bit of vanilla. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Great beer, poured cold into a St Bernardus goblet. Has a lot of cocoa/chocolate and toasted caramel taste, silky smooth pour and taste. Like a great Belgium quad on nitro, it improves the smooth nitro. I like it almost as much as Abt12, my favorite. If you like a quad, you won’t be disappointed. Overall, I live great beer, know what I like in the taste, but am not like everyone who will pick something all apart.

Shaken and poured into snifter. Coffee creamy nitro bod that bubbles down to a half-inch head. Dark murky red body.
Faint toffee nose.
Creamy taste, malty sweet. Heavy vanilla notes and some cherry.
Amazingly smooth body.
Dangerously drinkable, this one. Bow to Belgium.

Good Quad. The Nitro makes it smoother but doesn't do much to give it a head!!!! Poured from a 10.14 oz can into my Chimay goblet. Dense brown color. Some golden light showing through when held to a light. Minimal tan head, fast fading (the Nitro doesn't do much here!!! Some filmy lacing on the sides of the goblet. Aroma and flavor feature malt, dark fruit (especially cherries). a little candi sugar and plenty of Belgian yeast. Good strong flavor. Mouthfeel is rich but smoother and creamier than most Quads, based on the Nitro can. This beer tastes very good and goes down easy for 11% .abv. I enjoyed it very much

$4.29 @ Cherry Hill Wine, Liquor & Beer (Wegmans), Cherry Hill, NJ
Look: The body is a very deep brown that appears almost black. When held to the light there's a clear strip of chestnut brown along the base of the glass. The head is a 1/4 inch or so of creamy khaki colored foam that holds until the very end; and it leaves wide rings of solid lace about the glass as it goes.
Smell: Malty with golden caramel, sweet bread, a touch of brown sugar, and some dried fig or raisin. Background spiciness.
Taste: Rich and complex with a lot of maltiness as described above. Additional notes include a light hint of leather and some spiciness from the yeast. There is some alcohol but it's very well cloaked. It has a subtle acidity that makes me think of strawberry, and a firm bitterness that's just enough to transition it from sweet to moderately dry in the finish.
Feel: Full bodied and creamy smooth with a fine-bubbled, moderate carbonation.
Overall: Quite impressive!
