Buddy who lives in Columbia brought this back for me. Really excited to try a beer from down there!
A: Pours a hazed apricot color with a decent looking fluffy white head. Some spotty lacing down the glass as I go.
S: Musty wheat, light clove, pet dander and some biscuit. Not exactly what I look for in a hef.
T: Opens a touch metallic with some stale bread and light clove notes. After that, it really goes downhill and I just keep getting soggy grain and sourdough bread notes. Not bomb.

Served on-tap in downtown Bogota beer pub. In my trip to Bogota this was the best beer ive had overall. Although I doubt the ingredients were local, the taste was of an original german weiss beer. This city is cold contrary to common belief, however we were walking for long distances all over the city and were in need of a decent beer. tired of drinking poker, club colombia and other national beers (that suck) we found this bar (avenida 19) and had their weizen beer on tap. To our amazement, this was the best (and also the most pricy) of all beers in Colombia.

Golden hazy color. Lots of thick head with good retention and apparent carbonation.
Banana and yeasty aroma with notes of wheat and cloves.
Likewise, flavor of banana, yeast with a citric feeling from non-sweet oranges.
Pleasant weizen, not overly complex but with intense flavors and nice drinkability given its low sweetness. Give it a try.
